In cooperation with the manufacturer ECO-SISTEMI (www.rcbr-water.com) of Italy a biological secondary treatment system for the current installed primary treatment for dairy waste water (ECO-BIS) was installed at Greenlife in Hartberg. Thus, a further COD reduction can be achieved with up to -80% ...
Greenlife will have a stand with his ECO-BIS project on the biggest Austrian Communal Fair ASTRAD in Wels from April 22nd to 23rd. There will be more than 4000 visitors from several hundret austrian municipalities ...
The first ECO-BIS line is now installed at our hungarian partner HUKE in Sarvar, including Separartor and Vacuum Filter for pre-cleaning of waste water and dewatering their sludges. Due to permission problems in Hungary, their Pyrolysis plant is also installed in Vorarlberg...
On page 64 in The Parliament Magazine you will find an article about our Eco-Bis project (sewage sludges becomes high added value biochar (carbon-phosphorus-fertiliser)):
https://www.theparliamentmagazine.eu/articles/magazines/regional-review-september-2014-0 ![]() The first Greenlife pyrolysis system was now acquired by company Biochange from Vorarlberg, Austria. The system will be installed in September 2014, further investments are already planned and pre-ordered. Biochange is a waste management company, which is specialized in the disposal of sewage sludge and thus must handle large quantities. With the pyrolysis system Biochange has now found a new solution, which makes the sludge disposal ecologically and economically better. Per year an average pyrolysis plant is carbonising 4,000 tons of sludge (25% DM) to 500 tons of carbon-phosphorus fertiliser. This so-called biochar contains no organic and hygienic impurities. Biochange has two goals in mind. On one hand, the current costs for sewage sludge disposal should be minimized. On the other hand, the biochar will be marketed as a product in the medium term. Our partners Marjan and Marko present the project "eco-bis" at the symposium "Vodni dnevi 2013" in Portoroz, Slovenia.
![]() The Greenlife separator has reached a sensational pre-cleaning performance in real operation. This confirms a recent report by an external and accredited analytical laboratory. The COD of the waste water loads of a powdered milk plant in Hartberg, was reduced by 64% on average using the new pre-treat-ment system. Also the officially documented values for Total N (minus 64%) and Total P (minus 96%) are outstanding. It was the excellent performance of the separator, which made it possible for our partner to increase their production. Without pre-cleaning, the waste water treatment plant of this region would have been significantly overloaded. Our partner has expanded its production massively in the summer of 2013. Some million euros were invested in the world's first plant for the production of demineralized sheep and goat whey. Discharge of sewage plant More production means more loads in waste water. In order to maintain the continuous operation of our partner, the pre-cleaning system separator was installed upstream of the waste water treatment plant of this region. |
